You should have mentioned something on Monday - I might have made plans for a road trip. As for me, I think I'll be chilling in Orlando making and editing some videos myself.

Good times, John.

Stephen,

Of course you can come, no RSVP, no fee required. This is a casual gathering of independent new media folks in town and like many of the Web 2.0, New Media, PodCamp type gatherings we try, whenever possible, to make these collaborative gatherings free and open to the public.

I look forward to talking with you about Orlando's new media future. As a WMFE member I have always appreciated the attention the station has given to Orlando's growth. I thought last year's How Shall We Grow series was really well done. As the digital media industry continues its exponential growth downtown and around the University, it will be interesting to see how it effects the local economy as well as Orlando's reputation beyond Central Florida.

See you at the Think and Drink!

Cheers

Hello,

I'm not a member (yet) of Creatives, though I am curious if I may attend the "Think & Drink" Saturday 1/5 event?

If so, is there a fee and how and where do I RSVP?

Thanks.

Judson i tried what you said got it in about 30 secs. The way you perceive is just a mentality thats been built up upon. if you try perceiving her going the other way focus on that and look at the shadow if it might help and its possible. It doesn't necessarily have to do with brain dominance because I'm pretty sure I'm middle brained or moderately left but i can see it both ways if i focus on the shadow. I've seen this on many websites and the most dominant feedback is that people cant comprehend or see it going the counter clockwise. Either most of the people are right brained or that this test focuses more on how you can comprehend and your ability to focus on things that require both logic and a bit of that right brained touch (the ability to sort of, space out). I'm pretty sure that you wont be able to perceive it both ways unless you're middle brained, but then again, I,m only 14 what do i know?

Teri,

For everyday video blogging needs I'd suggest any of Sanyo's Xacti line of hand-held cameras. Go with whatever price point you can afford. Either the Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1000 or Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD1 or if you want to go a bit more traditional I'd suggest Sony Handycam HDR-SR7.

Hope that helps. Drop me a line if you have more specific questions. Glad you enjoyed the session.
