At first I saw her turning clockwise but upon concentrating on left brained qualities I see her turning counter clockwise. So I guess I'm middle brained. I'm also left handed when doing activities that require fine but cross dominant when it comes to doing activities that don't require small movements (e.g. sports). I don't know if that makes a difference but I thought I would just throw the idea out there.

Tim thanks a lot. Agree - Murphy has been our test case to see if we'll be ready when our daughter pops out and onto the scene.

I guess we can't put her in a crate when we leave the house.

Thanks for the link to the updates at macrumors. Perhaps I'll bide my time and suffer through using my old tower PC while I do some research on what I need.

Didn't think about refurb, that may be just what the doctor ordered, that is unless their dog or child has had their way with it before Apple refurbed it. Bad mojo, bad bad mojo.

Thanks again Tim.

That sucks. Wait til there are kids in the equation. My 2 yo son is worse than any dog when it comes to danger on the computer. He got to my Macbook while it was on the table, pounded some keys and we had to take it to a Genius to help work out some of the weirdness.

The good thing with Mac is you can have the best of both worlds with BootCamp or virtualization. I have even played low end 3D games on Fusion and it runs great. For HD it is more cpu than gpu so you could do fine on the Macbook. But I suggest at least a 7200 rpm drive, much nicer experience. The Pro has the option to build it with one. Plus it has the dedicated graphics for the the 3d niftyness.

It looks like the updates are coming soon if you can wait, macrumors.com has a spot on buyers guide that references the rev cycle.

And if you love the deal, the refurbished mac off apple.com are incredible deals and will have the current gen for $500 bucks off. These are demo machines that have never been used, they were usually displays. Bought my last 2 this way and have been great.

Well, from the beginning of Spirit's time, I was a fan...Nonstop. cheap flights from Michigan to Florida for vacation and just about the only nonstop flight from L.A. (where I now reside) to Michigan (hometown)... Thought I was getting a great deal until I truly was "nickel and dimed" to the same exact price, or over, the competetor's rates. If it weren't for the nice rep at LAX who switched my flight for "free" (had to pay for another seat) I would totally ban the airline! But, really, WTF is paying for baggage + seats + soda + snacks... As someone recently posted: Someone, anyone, please fix air travel!!!!

I can change it at will. It took me a few minutes. At first it was counter clockwise but then I looked at the shadow of her feet and saw it change. Now I can do it at will.

You should have mentioned something on Monday - I might have made plans for a road trip. As for me, I think I'll be chilling in Orlando making and editing some videos myself.

Good times, John.

Stephen,

Of course you can come, no RSVP, no fee required. This is a casual gathering of independent new media folks in town and like many of the Web 2.0, New Media, PodCamp type gatherings we try, whenever possible, to make these collaborative gatherings free and open to the public.

I look forward to talking with you about Orlando's new media future. As a WMFE member I have always appreciated the attention the station has given to Orlando's growth. I thought last year's How Shall We Grow series was really well done. As the digital media industry continues its exponential growth downtown and around the University, it will be interesting to see how it effects the local economy as well as Orlando's reputation beyond Central Florida.

See you at the Think and Drink!

Cheers
