Ok so I’m not quite sure how to explain what the hell this Twitter app does, but I like it. Twitter Blocks essentially is a 3 dimensional visualization of your twitter follwerers and followees. It reminds me of the 80’s video game Marble Madness. By checking out Twitter Blocks I found JoeyPrimiani now I don’t know who the hell this guy is but he’s from Orlando and that’s cool and someone I follow is following him on Twitter and that’s cool too. So maybe you’ll find someone cool to follow so check it out.

San Diego’s Comic Con is over and it is now back to life as usual until Orlando’s own Comic Con in September. While I sift through the many wrap up articles, cherishing each tidbit of news, I did want to point out the joy I received from attending the conference vicariously through fellow Twitter’ers.

I loved the immediacy of getting Twitter updates to my phone from Comic-Con. This ‘As it Happens’ kind of blogging is serious fun and because it doesn’t take a professional journalist to write an update of 140 characters you get more off-the-cuff responses and actually feel like you are at the conference. Granted, Whitney Matheson from USA Today’s PopCandy column is a pro but even having Big Media utilizing New Media tools at the Con didn’t spoil the magic of it, and Whitney does it with flare.
