John, I heard some more about this while at the the Creatives Group meeting last Monday. I wanted to ask you about how soon you think it is going to be available.

We have a budding technology community here in central Florida. It's a shame to see all that talent leave the area. I'm really interested in seeing how your fund turns out and what types of projects are funded. This could be the beginnings of a technology growth boom in the area if it's done right.

Thanks for spearheading it!

Thanks for stopping in and for the heads up Dan.

Ryan had mentioned you were involved with the ParPerPost financing, but I didn't know it was early. I first heard of Inflexion when DFJ kicked off the Series B financing in June. Checking out the Inflexion website now.

Interested to hear you experiences.

Look forward to meeting over coffee sometime soon.

Great post John. I got here from Ryan's blogbait and have already subscribed.

Inflexion is working hard, leading five early-stage venture deals in the Tampa-Orlando-SpaceCoast corridor, and others around Florida. Our two investments in Orlando were very early, Databanq was pre-product and PayPerPost wasn't even incorporated yet, and they are both growing well. In both cases, the founders had already invested personal and family money.

Inflexion needs to grow and we need more Inflexions who will lead deals with national syndicates from the start. Keep beating the drum and let me know ways to help. Sounds like you, me and Ryan should connect over some coffee soon...

Cheers, Dan...
